Express Entry is one of the fastest pathways to obtain Canada Permanent Residency from India and applications are managed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the federal authority overseeing Canada’s immigration system.

The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is managed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) through the Express Entry system. Eligible candidates are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), and those with the highest scores receive Invitations to Apply (ITA) for Canada Permanent Residency.

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a points-based ranking tool used by IRCC. To be eligible, you must obtain a total of 67 points out of 100.

The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is designed specifically for experienced trade professionals. It allows qualified skilled tradespersons from around the world to obtain Canadian permanent residency based on their trade experience.

Processing Time: 6 to 8 Months Official Details
Minimum Requirements:
  • Language: CLB 5 (Speaking/Listening), CLB 4 (Reading/Writing).
  • Experience: 2 years in the last 5 years in a skilled occupation.
  • Job Offer: Full-time offer (1 year min) OR Certificate of Qualification from a Canadian authority.
  • NOC: Meet job requirements set out in the National Occupational Classification.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is designed for skilled professionals who have recent work experience in Canada. It is one of the fastest immigration pathways, ideal for candidates already familiar with the Canadian work environment.

Processing Time: 4 to 6 Months Official Details
  • At least 12 months of full-time skilled work experience in Canada (within last 3 years).
  • Work experience must be paid and legally obtained.
  • Employment duties under NOC Code Skill Level 0, A, or B.
  • Language: CLB 7 for NOC 0/A jobs, CLB 5 for NOC B jobs.
  • Must intend to live outside Quebec.
  • Note: Proof of funds is not required.
